This display puts that hole on the wall. The green shape is the actual hole from the course he names — the fairway, the water, the bunkers — cut in layered wood and raised off the backing, with the pond in blue and the little bridge picked out in red. His name is engraved along the side; the course, the hole number and the date sit up top. A wooden cradle in the corner holds the ball he kept.

You do not need to play golf to order this. You send the course name, the hole number and the date; we build the layout and email you a proof before anything is cut.

WHAT AN EAGLE IS

If he said he made an eagle and you smiled without quite knowing what it meant — here it is: an eagle is finishing a hole two strokes under par. On a long hole that usually takes three good shots in a row. It sits between a birdie (one under) and an albatross (three under), and most golfers only manage a handful in a lifetime.

So it was a real thing, and the display will not need explaining to anyone who plays.

MADE AROUND ONE HOLE

The map is not a stock graphic. We recreate the specific hole you name — the shape of the green, the water, the fairway — and build it in real wood layers so land and water sit at different depths and catch the light. If a detail on your course is very fine we simplify it slightly so it still reads cleanly from across the room. You approve the layout on the proof first.

WITH PICTURE Your digital photo is UV printed directly onto a clear acrylic panel, raised off the wood on four metal standoffs. Send the photo through Etsy Messages after ordering. A phone photo from the day works — we'll tell you before production if the file is too small, and you can send another.

SCORECARD HOLDER A clear acrylic panel, cut to the size of your card, on four removable standoffs. You slide your own original scorecard behind it after delivery. We do not print or copy your scorecard — unscrew the four caps, place the real card, screw them back. For this option, send us a photo of your scorecard and its width × height in inches.

WITH PICTURE + SCORECARD HOLDER — 24" × 24" and 30" × 30" Both panels on one display: your photo on acrylic, and a separate removable holder for the original scorecard. The larger board makes room for both without crowding the hole map.

Wood grain and tone shift slightly from board to board, so no two displays come out identical.

You add after delivery: your own golf ball, and your own physical scorecard if you chose that style.

The golf ball is not included and you do not need to mail it to us. It drops into the cradle in a second. The ball and scorecard in our photos are for illustration.
